Just though I’d share with you all my Aliens inspired chest burster turkey…or as my family calls it: “Why you will never be allowed to cook a turkey for us again…regardless of how delicious it really was.”
And trust me…it was absolutely delicious.
Happy turkey day, minions!
Nothing but the freshest ingredients…
Prepping the chest burster. Pork loin wrapped in prosciutto and then secured with caul fat. Mouth is stuffed with tin foil to maintain shape while baking. Spaghetti teeth.
Chest burster gets roasted in the oven using tin foil and empty cans to help maintain shape.
Turkey’s all roasted. Prior to cooking I split the chest open and exposed the breast bone which will later provide support for my chest burster.
Starting the “acid” gravy using giblets. The green color comes from food coloring…
Fresh “bloody” cranberry sauce. The extra gooeyness comes from the addition of a little gelatin. Nice and stretchy!
Adding a bit of color and flavor through cranberry sauce. Almost time to begin assembling!
All assembled and ready to eat!
Mmm…it smells delicious! Time to dig in.
So disgustingly delicious!
And while I have your attention…Even demons can take a minute to reflect on things they are thankful for and this year it’s all the people in my life which have made this blog possible. Thank you to all my friends, family and followers who have encouraged me to share my photos, recipes, and musings with the world.
Happy Thanksgiving minions!
Bone appetite!

Pretty meat
Your Roasted Turkey smell very good through the vision.
Could you please state how you season/ what was use in what order
Okay, I am looking over the second meat product, with the RED sauce. Is it lamb. Is it rib’s.
I believe, you cooked in a can. If so did you melt out the plastic from the inside of the CAN [ Thinking commercial can’s such as Coffee].
It pays if you would read All the information provided before asking question.
I love what you have accomplished here.
Remember, to add to your cook – books. Yes. I said cookbook
I will pull all the info together. Off on vacation for Thanksgiving but will be back in the Kitchen next week. 🙂
I have to thank you for the efforts you’ve put in penning this site. I really hope to see the same high-grade content from you later on as well. In truth, your creative writing abilities has encouraged me to get my very own site now 😉
