Minions on the Loose! You make me so proud!

It takes a very special person to look at my Death by Chocolate Cake and decide they want it for their birthday…it takes an even more amazing person to make that cake for the one they love.

Chiletso Maggie Skeime is just that sort of amazing person!  For her husband’s birthday she made him his very own Death by Chocolate Cake.

Now that’s true love!

Check out the amazing photos she sent me!

Both the cake and the skull look so good!  Rather than go through the lengthy (and not always easy process) of molding her own silicon chocolate mold, she smartly molded the inside of the skull cake pan (genius by the way!).

Time to start assembling!

Mmm…gooey gooey gore.

Adding some final touches as well as the fondant skin…

The disgustingly beautiful final results!

Chilly, I hope your husband appreciates all your hard work.  I know I did!  Damn, that looks good enough to eat!

Well done, minions…well done!

  1. Wow this is supremely horrifying!

This post would make a great addition to Our Growing Edge, a monthly blog link up just for new food adventures. It’s a fun way to share your new food experiences with other foodies. This month’s theme is HALLOWEEN which includes sweet and spooky food, pumpkins or black and orange dishes.
